Joe Euteneuer, Partner & Chairman, Spain Telecom, LLC

Mr. Joseph J. Euteneuer, also known as Joe, CPA, is an accomplished telecom and media operating and financial executive with a career spanning over 25 years. He has raised over $100 billion in capital for the companies in which he has held senior finance/accounting positions.

Mr. Euteneuer is Chief Financial Officer of Mattel, Inc. since September 25, 2017.

From May 2016 to September 2017, he served as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Americas of Rivada Networks, LLC, as well as CEO of Rivada Mercury, LLC, which is a partnership created to build and operate national telecom networks for the benefit of First Responders (police, firefighters, emergency personnel, etc.) in the United States, as well as in various countries around the world.

Mr. Euteneuer served as the Chief Financial Officer of Sprint Corp. (formerly, Sprint Nextel Corp.), since April 4, 2011 until August 31, 2015. Mr. Euteneuer served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Qwest Communications International Inc., since September 15, 2008. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Qwest Corp. He served as the Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Executive Vice President of XM Satellite Radio Inc. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc., from June 2002 to September 2008 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer.

Mr. Euteneuer served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Broadnet Europe, a subsidiary of Comcast Corp., from 2000 to 2002. He joined Comcast in 1989 and served as its Vice President and Corporate Controller from 1993 to 2000 and Director of Corporate Development for Comcast Corporation from 1988 to 1993.

He began his career in public accounting in 1978 with Deloitte and has also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He served as an Executive Employee of Comcast Corporation, Philadelphia/USA from January 21, 2002 to June 27, 2002. He served as a Member of Supervisory Board at Broadnet AG (formerly Broadnet Mediascape Communications AG). He served as a Director of MediaNews Group, Inc. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Euteneuer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and MBA from Duke University.
